Onem Boreal® is an interdisciplinary artist, with a special interest in computer science, surrealism, nature, folklore, comics, science fiction and fantasy. He was born in Monterrey, a city surrounded by mountains in northern Mexico.
In May 2016 he earned his Masters (ALM) degree in Digital Media Design at Harvard University. He also received a certificate in Strategic Planning at Harvard GSD and just recently graduated from Pictoplasma academy.
His professional studies include marketing, graphic design, programming, architecture among other creative fields. In 2005 he started his professional life as a designer working as an intern with Hani Rashid at Asymptote Architecture in New York City. Ex-student from acclaimed artists Annette Lemieux and Paul Stoporth. He has been exhibiting his artwork internationally. He is also a teacher, a traveler and just recently a husband and a dad of a beautiful baby girl.
When he graduated from his ALM he decided to formally open his own Studio (Onem Studio).
